Obrigada Guriu

Die Mündung des Guriu liegt ca. 10 Kilometer westlich von Jericoacoara. Sarah-Quita Offringa startet einen Kite-Downwinder dorthin und ging anschließend Windsurfen.

Der Spot mit seinen Kabbelwellen und der Strömung erschwerte das Freestyle Training, aber Sarah-Quita nahm die Bedingungen an: "I always have a goal in mind when I go for a freestyle session, and sometimes it works out, and sometimes you need to adapt. Other times you get carried away with other moves. The tide was coming up and because of that there was a lot of current pushing upwind, which did something weird to my board when I tried to go for skopus. And it made it harder to generate enough speed for double culo tries on starboard tack. And then out of the blue I tried some spock konos which I hadn’t tried for years and got further than expected! I should have probably been on my 4,0 but all in all I had a really fun session!"
